Hi Oliver, we just found a large Macrochelodina rugosa in Derby (North Western Australia) while going for an evening walk - we will let him go in the Fitzroy River tomorrow after the kids have a better look. Thanks for your website!! Cheers - John

Thanks for having all the information on this site! Without it to reference preparing for the arrival of my snake neck would have been alot more difficult. I wish more people cared about the plight of the world's turtles like you do! If only we could save them all.

Excellent website you have created I am a turtle fan, i have 3 Macauqarie short neck, 3 long neck and snake necked turtle I am trying to find a pig nose turtle but not many in Australia have them Regards Steven
