Cannot call up Options screen with ALT-O. Can only ALT-X to Exit. Other than that, patch and game works okay! Thanks!

often, during pant rippling space combat, i get this message: "the instruction at 00447d3a referenced memory at 00000028 the memory could not be read from " and the game stops. any help would be appreciated.

Hey trying to install Privateer onto a windows 98 platform but I am having problems with the Install.. While in Dos Mode its telling me I need a Mouse Driver.

hi i need help i added the patch and the game works great and i played all night but when i had to insert disk 2 i put it in and nothing happens the screen just say insert disk still i tried pressing the space bar didnt work i can play first disk fine what can i do to solve this problem

Hey. many thanks for you first. i have the same problem like other guys here. i install the game. alls fine. the i buy straight and two streamlasers, want to get to battle... an then. applicationerror by leaving hermes. i thried tu run it in win95Compati. but application error again. i using winxp home SP3 on asus notebook. if there a patch too install? please help. bye marius

I had the same problem alot of people seem to have of the game crashing after launching from Hermes for the first time. I just now tried installing the the game with the patch on my laptop and it worked. The main difference between my two systems is service pack 2 for windows xp. My laptop still only has service pack 1, and it runs fine. Good luck to everyone on getting this to run, hope this post helps.

It's me again, Same problem on the same computer. I tired installing on another computer to see if the same problem occurred thinking maybe I messed up the patch some how. Well, I get the opposite effect on the other computer. On that one it's playing to fast to react to fights properly. Help please, I would love to play this game at regular pace again!

Nice patch, been wanting to play this one again for a while, but the game is playing at half speed. The booths and animations and planets run at normal (maybe in slightly fast?) speed, but when I get in space, game play speed becomes really slow. What can i do to fix this? P4 3.4ghz, winXPpro
